We are NOT alone!
If you were to ask me what is my favorite thing to do, without hesitation, I would respond, “Meeting people and getting to know what is most important to them.”
I have always loved doing this. Something inside me swirls with excitement when I have the privilege of encountering who they are. I mean, who they really are – at their core.
As corny as it sounds, and yes, I realize it does sound corny, but I don’t care. It’s true. It feels like I’m watching a flower unfold in front of me. It feels sacred.
I love to uncover things like:
♥︎ What they are crazy-passionate about
♥︎ What they love so much it takes their breath away and makes their chest ache
♥︎ What makes them so mad, their blood boils
♥︎ What fills them with beauty, so deeply that they’re on the brink of tears …
… and a myriad of other compelling topics like these. You know, the super important things – the ones that really count.
My second favorite thing to do (and, oh-so-very-close to my first favorite) is to talk about God’s love and how it shows up in our lives – in spite of the broken world we live in. I love to banter around ideas of how we can live brilliant and abundant lives full of joy and freedom while at the same time, find a profound peace in the midst of pain, suffering, and brokenness.
Countless lives confirm, fully embracing both overflowing love and significant pain is not only possible – but those people are living proof of the brilliant strategy of our fabulous God to create such a powerful capacity within us!
So, this is why I love leading seminars! I get to authentically connect with other people and we chitchat about important topics like our identity in Christ, why we are here on this Earth and empowering ourselves to go after the life we want – the one that God designed for us to live!
I love lots of other things too! I love my sons, sunsets, zip lines, tulips, avocados & artichokes, my siblings, wispy clouds, witnessing bravery, my kitty Zipper, girls’ nights and a million-jillion other things. But that’s all for another day so I must reel myself in.

In the seminars, it is my delight and privilege to connect with women to hunt for buried treasure as we ponder:
Who God created us to BE – Promise
The Promise seminar walks participants through an exercise that gives them a straightforward (and surprisingly accurate) look at the God-ordained “essence” they might have had glimpses of throughout their life but most often have significantly lost touch with. Most women who attend this seminar leave with a solid sense that they are stronger and more capable than they usually think they are.
What God created us to DO – Purpose
In the Purpose seminar, participants will compose their own Life Purpose statement – beginning with activities they love to do, qualities or characteristics they see in themselves (or others admire in them), and gifts or talents they possess. By investing the effort to uncover this design, the participants come away with an internal compass clarifying their calling & passion and a stronger confidence in how they intend to spend their time & energy.
What gets in the way – Prevail
After we know who God created us to BE and what He created us to DO, we still can get stuck in the muck of our old limiting beliefs and the lies we have believed. The Prevail seminar helps take a look at what stops us from doing the things we really want to do and helps us grasp a new perspective so we can make a different choice – one that is in alignment with our God-ordained essence and purpose! (Romans 7:15 – “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”)
So Kind of You to Say So!
♥︎ “The second century church father, Saint Irenaeus, said, ‘the glory of God is humanity fully alive.’ My most passionate calling, and often the most challenging, as a local church pastor is inviting individuals and communities into the sacred work of becoming fully alive – integrating their hopes, faults, passions and failures into a whole self that is celebrated, loved, and active in alleviating the suffering of a broken world.
I invited Nancy to lead a workshop series in my congregation to help us discover the resources within ourselves to seek wholeness through our compassionate Source – God. Nancy brought her spiritual insight and transformative presence through the vulnerable sharing of her own journey of heartache, self-doubt, perseverance, and transformation. Her authenticity combined perfectly with her expert facilitation skills to create space for participants to enter their own stories and begin seeking deeper spiritual transformation and renewal. Two years later and I still hear from participants about the insights they received and continue to use to walk the path of abundant life, wholeness, and compassion.”

♥︎ “I recently attended a 6-week seminar with Nancy at our church. Through Nancy’s coaching, I am viewing my purpose in a whole new light; with less focus on being a Martha and more enjoyably focusing on the Mary I have always wanted to be! The exercise where we told a story about our life was an important part of letting go of the controlling Martha person I had become. God is in control of my life and he loves me all the time. Nancy is helping me find joy in “being” a child of God and it is so peaceful to know how simple this is and it was here all the time.”

♥︎ “It was helpful to get to know other people in depth. It shows we are connected and can relate to each other in many ways. It was uncomfortable at first especially telling about myself. But also rewarding that I was able to get out of my comfort zone.”
~ Anne B.
♥︎ “Anytime we ‘take time’ to connect honestly with one another is so valuable.”
~ Myrna S.
♥︎ “This seminar was above & beyond! Nancy went ‘over the top’ on her presentation.”
